Hello, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about the founder of EVIDOSE®.
My name is Rebecca.
I studied nutrition and food science at the University of Reading and later worked in new product development and technical food roles, gaining hands-on experience taking products from concept through to market.
Alongside my professional work, family health challenges led me to research the impact of the gut microbiome and evidence-based nutrition more closely. This naturally led me to examine live bacteria supplements already on the market. With a scientific background, I began comparing products not just by their labels, but against the human clinical research supporting the specific bacterial strains they contained.
The gap was clear. Many products relied on generic species without strain identification, included bacteria supported by limited evidence, or used doses far below those shown to be effective in clinical studies.
I believed these supplements should be formulated differently — grounded in human clinical evidence, with clear strain selection, clinically relevant dosing, and without unnecessary additions that can compromise tolerability for those with sensitive digestion.
After months reviewing clinical trial data and analysing the market, I created EVIDOSE® Live Biotic Daily+. The formulation includes four clinically researched bacteria strains; Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus GG, Bifidobacterium lactis BB-12, Bifidobacterium lactis HN019, and Lactobacillus acidophilus NCFM — each included at doses supported by published human clinical research.
I also made a deliberate decision not to include prebiotics. The quantities shown to be effective in clinical trials are too large to fit into a capsule and may worsen symptoms for some individuals. By excluding them, the formulation remains evidence-led and suitable for sensitive digestion.
EVIDOSE® was created to reflect what the science supports and will continue to evolve alongside the evidence as the understanding of the gut microbiome develops. Live Biotic Daily+ is launching in January 2026, and I’m proud to introduce an evidence-led live bacteria supplement to the market. Early user testing has highlighted great tolerability and positive experiences around digestive comfort, reinforcing the importance of choosing a clinically grounded formulation.
